Occupational Therapist School Setting - Seaside, CA

What You’ll Need:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, parents, and caregivers
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional growth
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Clear background check and TB test

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services onsite to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, interpret findings, and develop goals in alignment with student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to implement therapeutic strategies within classrooms
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, progress, interventions, and outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary decision-making process
• Offer consultative support to staff for environmental adaptations or classroom modifications to promote students’ independence
