Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and special education documentation
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to motivate, engage, and inspire students with diverse abilities

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assessing students’ needs and abilities to develop effective therapy plans
• Delivering direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and IEP team members
• Maintaining accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Adapting interventions to accommodate a variety of learning and physical challenges
• Providing resourceful strategies for classrooms and families
• Supporting a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
