Requirements & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Washington state OT license or eligibility to obtain
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Knowledge of a variety of assessment tools and therapy strategies
- Ability to navigate virtual documentation systems and maintain detailed records
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ strengths and needs
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy interventions in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Monitor, document, and report student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Educate staff and families on strategies for supporting students’ motor development
- Adapt educational materials and environments to enhance student participation
- Stay current on best practices and professional development within your field
