Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active California Occupational Therapist (OTR) licensure
  • Experience working in school settings, delivering therapy for pediatric populations
  • Understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with sensory integration and school-based intervention models
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored occupational therapy services to students, addressing fine motor skills, self-care, and classroom participation
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop strategies that facilitate student success
  • Document evaluations, progress reports, and treatment outcomes in accordance with school district guidelines
  • Offer consultation, support, and training to educators and other staff on best practices
  • Manage a full-time school-based caseload across elementary, middle, and/or high school students
