Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Occupational Therapist Registration (OTR) and relevant state licensure
- Experience in school-based OT, or strong interest in pediatric and educational settings
- Skilled in conducting evaluations, developing individualized plans, and documenting progress
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering student growth and independence
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across various grade levels
- Assess students’ abilities and needs through thorough evaluations and observations
- Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with school staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service providers to support student engagement and participation in the classroom
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation according to school and professional standards
