Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Occupational Therapist Registration (OTR) and relevant state licensure
  • Experience in school-based OT, or strong interest in pediatric and educational settings

  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across various grade levels
  • Assess students’ abilities and needs through thorough evaluations and observations
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with school staff and families
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service providers to support student engagement and participation in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation according to school and professional standards
  • Engage in professional development and training opportunities as needed
