Requirements and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Valid OT license (or eligible for licensure) in Washington State
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs
- Passion for promoting student independence and success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess and document students’ functional abilities, needs, and progress
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and district policies
- Support classroom accommodations and recommend adaptive equipment as needed
