Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Washington State (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience providing OT services in schools, home health, or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and individualized treatment planning
- Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse learning and home environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, in both school and home settings as needed
- Evaluate students’ needs, develop individualized treatment goals, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student functional participation in educational programs
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom and daily routines
- Provide training and resources to educational staff and families to ensure continuity of care
- Regularly assess progress and adjust therapy plans to maximize student success
