Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Kansas (or eligible for Kansas licensure)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions to a range of student abilities and needs
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational atmosphere
Daily Responsibilities:
- Serve a caseload spanning five elementary campuses (detailed caseload information forthcoming)
- Assess students, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
