School Occupational Therapist - Shawnee, Kansas

With the flexibility to create your own schedule, you can shape your day by visiting one to three schools on average, tailoring your support to best meet student needs.

Preferred qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure for the state of Kansas
• Demonstrated experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Ability to manage and prioritize a moderate-to-large caseload
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to promoting students’ independence and participation within the school environment

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, ages and needs varying
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student advancement
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Adapt schedules and strategies to best serve student goals and maximize efficiency
