A skilled Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed (OTR/L) is sought for the 2026-2027 school year to provide essential therapy services in an educational setting. This onsite position is located in Shawnee, Oklahoma, offering either part-time (20 hours per week) or full-time (37.5 hours per week) opportunities. The contract term aligns with the traditional school year, from August 2026 through May 2027, with the first day of school scheduled for August 13, 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services tailored to students’ individual needs within the school environment.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning to support students’ educational goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Oklahoma Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) is required.
  • Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles and school-based intervention strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt caseload and schedules as determined by the school administration.
