Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license, or eligibility for licensure, in Indiana
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school-based (K-12) setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to develop, implement, and track individualized student plans
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Flexible, adaptable, and ready to deliver evidence-based interventions for a diverse student population
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ OT needs
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment sessions and plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and parents to support students’ functional and academic goals
- Document student progress, prepare necessary reports, and attend relevant meetings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
