Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license, or eligibility for licensure, in Indiana
  • Previous experience providing OT services in a school-based (K-12) setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to develop, implement, and track individualized student plans
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
  • Flexible, adaptable, and ready to deliver evidence-based interventions for a diverse student population

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ OT needs
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment sessions and plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and parents to support students’ functional and academic goals
  • Document student progress, prepare necessary reports, and attend relevant meetings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
