Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience or passion for working in school-based settings
• Familiarity with IEP planning and documentation
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Previous experience with 5th to 12th-grade students is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students 5th through 12th grade, addressing a wide range of needs that impact learning and participation
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Monitor student progress, adapt interventions, and maintain accurate documentation
• Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom strategies and modifications
• Engage families in supporting carryover of therapeutic goals at home
