Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in grades 5-12 in a full-time, onsite school-based role. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with students to enhance their functional, academic, and developmental skills while collaborating with educators and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades 5-12.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Recommend accommodations, modifications, and strategies to support student success.
  • Participate in meetings and consultations regarding student needs and progress.

Qualifications Required

  • Active Occupational Therapist license.
  • Required educator certification/credential for school-based practice.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with middle and high school students.
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy best practices within educational settings.

Preferred

  • Previous school-based experience.
  • Experience working with students in grades 5-12.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and educational team collaboration.
