Occupational Therapist School Setting in Sheridan, OR

What You’ll Need:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in school-based OT or related pediatric settings
• Familiarity with IEPs, therapeutic strategies for various age groups, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt services across diverse student needs from kindergarten through 12th grade

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver both direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students in K-12 settings
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
• Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and communicate effectively with educators and families
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to enhance student outcomes
• Focus solely on providing contracted OT services—no additional district duties like bus or parent pick-up assignments
