A licensed Occupational Therapist is needed for a travel assignment supporting school-aged children in Shreveport, LA. This role involves providing evaluation, treatment, and therapeutic intervention to students with diverse needs within the educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' developmental and educational goals
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve students' motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and adapt classroom environments
  • Maintain thorough documentation of treatment sessions and progress reports in compliance with school regulations and IDEA requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working in school-based settings with a variety of pediatric disabilities

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
