Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in NJ (or ability to secure license)
- Experience in school settings preferred (OT - School)
- Proficiency in teletherapy, home health, and healthcare-based OT practices a plus
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and support student development in group and individual settings
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct OT services in a school environment, following individualized caseload:
- 15 sessions/year, 30 min each, small group
- 20 sessions/year, 30 min each, small group
- 1 consult/month, 30 min, group
- 1 consult/month, 30 min, individual
- 5 consults/year, 10 min each
- 15 sessions/year, 30 min each, individual
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to IEP requirements
- Track progress and collaborate with educational staff and families
- Utilize teletherapy and consultative approaches when appropriate
