Essential Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with eligibility to practice in the state
- Previous experience working in a school environment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Able to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management abilities
- Adaptable to changing caseloads and diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional abilities and needs within the school environment
- Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with established goals
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, student progress, and required reports
- Participate in team meetings, providing valuable input to support overall student development
