Role Highlights:

• Contract position: August 10, 2026 – June 8, 2027
• Full-time: 35 hours per week
• Work exclusively onsite, covering elementary grade students (ages 3 through 5th grade)
• Flexible scheduling with therapist-driven caseload management, with approval from school administrators—no strict daily start or end times, and 21 hours per week dedicated to direct student services
• Caseloads may vary and may be across multiple school sites (details discussed during interview)
• Focus on academic life skills with students presenting high-level autism spectrum disorders, significant communication needs, and behavioral challenges
• Comprehensive district support for behavioral and communication needs

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Maryland required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or with similar age groups strongly preferred
• Background in addressing complex student needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and behavioral support
• Strong communication and organizational abilities, with adaptability to manage varying caseloads across multiple locations
