Travel School Occupational Therapist - Silver Spring, Maryland

This role involves working across multiple schools, providing essential therapy services that help children overcome physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges to enhance their academic performance and daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy interventions tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
• Conduct student assessments and document progress to inform ongoing support and strategies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate services and advocate for student success.
• Travel between assigned schools to provide consistent therapy services as scheduled.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant credentials to practice in school settings.
• Experience working with children in educational environments preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs and school environments.
• Willingness to travel between locations as required by the position.

Location: This position is based in Silver Spring, MD, with travel to multiple nearby schools.
