Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and support staff
- Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
Position Details:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students, as mandated by IEPs
- Assess and document students' needs, progress, and goals
- Develop tailored intervention plans to support student access to their curriculum
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Offer staff training and collaborate with teachers to ensure successful student support
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting and documentation according to school guidelines
- 8 hours per day, servicing students for the remainder of the academic year
