Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Previous experience in school, healthcare, home health, and/or teletherapy settings
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, families, and educational teams
- Understanding of IEP process and school-based documentation
- Versatility to work with both elementary and secondary age groups
- Commitment to fostering student success and self-advocacy
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services, both onsite and via teletherapy as needed
- Facilitate therapy sessions, focusing on functional skills for school participation
- Maintain clear, timely documentation within compliance standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with stakeholders
- Adjust scheduling to match elementary (8:30-3:15) or secondary (7:30-2:15) school hours
