Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
  • Previous experience in school, healthcare, home health, and/or teletherapy settings
  • Strong collaboration skills with teachers, families, and educational teams
  • Understanding of IEP process and school-based documentation
  • Versatility to work with both elementary and secondary age groups
  • Commitment to fostering student success and self-advocacy

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services, both onsite and via teletherapy as needed
  • Facilitate therapy sessions, focusing on functional skills for school participation
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation within compliance standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Adjust scheduling to match elementary (8:30-3:15) or secondary (7:30-2:15) school hours
