Working with a diverse Pre-K through 12th-grade student population of approximately 40 students, you’ll strengthen your skills and broaden your expertise in various therapy models and school-based OT practices. This role offers district-wide engagement and the unique opportunity to supervise a talented COTA, allowing you to develop your leadership abilities while providing high-quality care in both in-person and teletherapy settings. The 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday, 8AM–4PM) means long weekends to recharge or explore the local charms and scenic wonders of central New Mexico.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy licensure from the State of New Mexico (required)
  • Experience in school-based settings (elementary through high school)
  • Teletherapy proficiency preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience or readiness to lead a COTA

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT services to Pre-K through 12th-grade students district-wide
  • Conduct both in-person and teletherapy sessions as needed
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized OT treatment plans
  • Supervise and mentor a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Collaborate with school teams and families to ensure optimal outcomes
