Make a difference for students in grades PreK-8 as a dedicated Occupational Therapist working onsite! This rewarding contract opportunity allows you to leverage your OT expertise in a supportive educational environment, interacting with children and collaborating with school staff to deliver impactful therapy services.

Highlights of this position:

  • Full-time contract, 40 hours per week during the academic year (August 2026 through May 2027; dates subject to change)
  • Serve a diverse PreK-8th grade student caseload (determined at start of position)
  • Onsite role offering direct engagement with students and educational teams

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license is required
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required and must be valid through the assignment
  • Proven experience with school-based OT services is necessary
  • Ability to adapt strategies for individualized and group therapy in educational settings
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude to partner with teachers, staff, and families

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and develop individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Deliver occupational therapy sessions tailored to developmental and educational objectives
  • Document student progress and maintain compliant records
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and support team efforts for student success
  • Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students in the learning environment
