Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current licensure or eligibility for Occupational Therapy in Indiana
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Enthusiasm for working onsite and forming meaningful relationships with students and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students, addressing a variety of needs to support their educational participation
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility and progress
  • Develop and maintain individualized plans in accordance with school policies and state guidelines
  • Document therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress accurately and promptly
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team
