Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current licensure or eligibility for Occupational Therapy in Indiana
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for working onsite and forming meaningful relationships with students and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students, addressing a variety of needs to support their educational participation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility and progress
- Develop and maintain individualized plans in accordance with school policies and state guidelines
- Document therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress accurately and promptly
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team
