You will work 37.5 hours per week supporting learners from ages 3 to 18, offering specialized interventions in a dynamic school environment near South Hill, VA. Key qualifications sought include:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Virginia
  • Experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Strong foundation in fine motor and gross motor skill development
  • Proficiency working in diverse formats: COTA and OT roles, home health, teletherapy, and school-based services
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach
  • Genuine enthusiasm for supporting pediatric populations

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing students' needs, strengths, and areas for growth in motor, sensory, and functional domains
  • Designing and executing individualized treatment plans and IEP-related goals
  • Providing direct, hands-on therapy—in both one-on-one and group settings
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other professionals
  • Tracking and documenting student progress, modifying strategies as needed
  • Actively participating in meetings and contributing expert recommendations
