School Occupational Therapist | South Royalton, Vermont

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license in Vermont (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
• Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Willingness to adapt to new educational settings and diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Perform evaluations, set goals, and document student progress using best practices
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Offer recommendations and strategies for classroom adaptations and assistive technology as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
• Foster student independence, fine motor skills, and functional abilities critical for school success
