Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Knowledge of best OT practices for K-12 students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Skilled in creating and implementing individualized educational and therapy plans

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy services for a diverse K-12 student population
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans to address students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance students’ educational success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide thorough documentation of student progress
  • Adapt strategies and interventions to meet a wide range of student needs
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
