Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Knowledge of best OT practices for K-12 students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Skilled in creating and implementing individualized educational and therapy plans
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy services for a diverse K-12 student population
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans to address students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance students’ educational success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide thorough documentation of student progress
- Adapt strategies and interventions to meet a wide range of student needs
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
