You’ll have the option to provide services in one of two ways: work full-time for five consecutive weeks or dedicate two days per week from now through the end of the school year. A total of 25 days of services needs to be fulfilled, giving you the chance to choose a schedule that fits your life while helping students achieve success.
Skills & Experience:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience providing OT services in schools is highly desired
- Comfort with individualized and group therapy, as well as IEP development and documentation
- Ability to adapt interventions to a wide range of student needs and abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and school teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services consistent with student IEP requirements
- Evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Document progress, maintain compliance, and participate in IEP meetings
- Serve as a resource to teachers and staff regarding sensory, fine motor, and adaptive strategies
- Foster a supportive, productive, and inclusive learning environment
