Desired Qualifications:
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and documentation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to assess students’ development and needs
- Develop, implement, and Monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals focused on occupational therapy interventions
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to recommend strategies and accommodations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
