Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy in alignment with students’ IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and functional assessments to identify student needs
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at promoting daily living and academic skills
• Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure coordinated support
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing input into goal-setting and progress tracking
• Address fine motor, sensory processing, and functional independence skills in the school setting

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Virginia OT license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• NBCOT certification (required)
• School-based experience is highly valued, though enthusiastic new graduates are welcomed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
