Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active and current Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina
  • Experience providing OT services within a school setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP/504 processes and pediatric interventions
  • Outstanding communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload
  • Compassionate, flexible, and resourceful approach to therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in alignment with their IEP or 504 plan
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans supporting academic participation
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth
  • Maintain thorough therapy records and progress notes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations
  • Support students across multiple sites (if needed) as part of a cohesive school team
  • Stay current on best practices and compliance standards in school-based OT

This contract spans from November 2, 2026, to May 21, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek, providing structure and stability for the academic year.
