Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt to varying student needs
- Open to both individual and group service delivery formats
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Complete assessments, create intervention plans, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional recommendations
- Support students in achieving their goals for academic, functional, and social participation
- Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines
