Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina (OTR)
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to multiple caseloads or changing environments
  • Commitment to empowering students to achieve their fullest potential

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students as designated in their IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive educational plans
  • Maintain timely documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert input on student needs and therapy plans
  • Travel to assigned school locations within the district as needed
  • Educate and coach school staff and families on supportive strategies for student development
