Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active and current MA Occupational Therapy license
  • Experience working with school-aged children or in a pediatric/educational setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Reliable, compassionate, and collaborative approach

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans to address sensory, fine motor, and adaptive skill areas
  • Deliver direct therapy services individually or in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapeutic recommendations into classroom routines
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, evaluations, and progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting and program planning
  • Provide training and resources to educators and families on strategies to support student participation in the school environment
