Occupational Therapist School Setting - Springfield, OH

Assignment Details:

• Position runs from October 22nd through December 21st
• Four days per week, totaling 32 hours weekly
• Serve students in schools near the Springfield and Beavercreek areas

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Ohio
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and settings
• Demonstrated organizational skills for documentation and scheduling
• Established knowledge in assessment, intervention planning, and report writing

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under IEPs or 504 plans
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations in accordance with district requirements
• Develop targeted intervention strategies to support student success and participation
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure effective service delivery
• Maintain detailed therapy documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
• Empower students to build essential skills for educational success and independence
