Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Vermont Occupational Therapy license required
  • Previous experience within a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and parents
  • Ability to manage and organize caseloads across various grade levels
  • Committed to fostering student growth and independence

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12 in accordance with IEPs and district standards
  • Conduct assessments, write evaluations, and actively participate in IEP meetings
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to enhance students’ access to the curriculum and overall success in the school environment
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to support student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all state, federal, and ethical guidelines
