What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services according to IEP requirements
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to tailor support to each student
- Design and carry out individualized therapy plans aimed at fostering daily living and academic skills
- Partner with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies across school environments
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to state and district protocols
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing insights and collaborating on student goals
- Address areas such as fine motor development, sensory processing, and functional independence
What We Look For:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Virginia OT license, or eligibility to attain one
- NBCOT certified occupational therapist
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, though not required
- Skillful communicator with a commitment to collaboration
Schedule Details:
- Commitment of approximately 37.5 hours per week
- Follows the school calendar, with all school holidays and breaks observed
