This full-time, contract opportunity is available for a dedicated professional ready to start as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year.

Utilize your skills in school-based OT and healthcare as you collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve their fullest potential. What we’re seeking:

  • Valid state licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent experience in a school-based setting, ideally working with elementary-aged children
  • Solid understanding of the IEP process and intervention strategies for pediatrics
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students, families, and educational staff
  • Strong commitment to fostering student independence and access to curriculum
  • Flexibility to start ASAP and commit through the end of the school year

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary students
  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services aligned with student needs
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as part of the multidisciplinary team
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support classroom success
  • Adapt therapy techniques to a variety of learning styles and functional abilities
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and school-specific guidelines
