Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Connecticut
• Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Knowledge and application of fine and gross motor skill interventions
• Previous collaboration with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A passion for fostering independence and confidence in students

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate student needs and design personalized OT interventions
• Address both fine and gross motor skills for improved classroom participation
• Work closely with students, teachers, and support staff to promote functional learning
• Document progress and communicate regularly with faculty and families
• Contribute to the development of IEP goals and participate in team meetings
• Support students’ transitions and adaptations throughout the school year
