Key Qualifications:

  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR)
  • Prior experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school environment or working with pediatric populations

  • Ability to manage a caseload and maintain thorough documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student needs and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities
  • Regularly monitor, document, and report on student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insights and recommendations
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices in school-based OT
