Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Experience providing occupational therapy in school settings is highly valued
  • Knowledge of IEPs, evaluations, treatment planning, and documentation requirements
  • Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and learning environments
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Position Details:

  • Both full-time and part-time schedules available to suit your availability
  • Flexible scheduling with option to choose which days you work
  • Caseload specifics—including age groups and number of students—will be discussed during the interview process
  • Location is close to the Sterling Heights, MI area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for students referred for occupational therapy services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address students’ educational and functional goals
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to the development of IEPs
  • Offer consultation, training, and support for teachers and families to maximize student success
  • Maintain consistent progress notes and complete required documentation in a timely manner
