This full-time, contract position focuses primarily on delivering services within several sites, with a main presence at Cesar Chavez locations and the potential for assignments at additional facilities as needed. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current Michigan licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes, goal writing, and progress monitoring
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt and work across multiple locations as required
- Collaborative mindset to work with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized occupational therapy plans for students
- Work one-on-one or in small groups to address fine motor, sensory, or self-care challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings, create goals, and track student progress
- Provide consultative support and resources to educational staff and families
- Document and communicate interventions, outcomes, and recommendations
- Travel between sites as needed in response to student needs
