Opportunity available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students in a dynamic school setting for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, contract position focuses primarily on delivering services within several sites, with a main presence at Cesar Chavez locations and the potential for assignments at additional facilities as needed. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Current Michigan licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
  • Understanding of IEP processes, goal writing, and progress monitoring
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt and work across multiple locations as required
  • Collaborative mindset to work with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized occupational therapy plans for students
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to address fine motor, sensory, or self-care challenges
  • Participate in IEP meetings, create goals, and track student progress
  • Provide consultative support and resources to educational staff and families
  • Document and communicate interventions, outcomes, and recommendations
  • Travel between sites as needed in response to student needs
