This contract opportunity is part-time, offering 6.5 hours per week during the school year from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027. The position follows a convenient weekday schedule from 8:30am to 3:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Compassionate, flexible, and dedicated to supporting student success
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide direct occupational therapy or speech-language services to students, as identified in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ developmental and educational needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and document progress regularly
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
