Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Previous experience working within school settings preferred
  • Understanding of IEP processes and student goal-setting
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with educators, administration, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and direct or consultative services for students, focusing on activities of daily living, sensory processing, fine motor skills, and participation within the educational environment
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams in the development and implementation of IEPs, goals, and intervention strategies tailored to each student’s needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and school staff to support classroom accommodations and modifications
  • Communicate progress and recommendations with families to promote carryover and success across settings
