Skills & Experience Sought:

• Current, valid Michigan Occupational Therapist license (must provide screenshot upon application)
• Verified school-based occupational therapy experience
• Comfort and enthusiasm for working with a diverse caseload, including students up to age 26
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to deliver direct therapy and provide consultative support within an educational setting
• Organizational skills to manage documentation and individualized education plan (IEP) requirements
• COTAs need not apply; this position is for OTs only

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services onsite, utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to each student’s needs
• Complete assessments and contribute to IEPs and team meetings
• Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans, goal progress, and accommodations
• Collaborate closely with educators, service providers, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation and reporting in compliance with school policies and state guidelines
