Occupational Therapist School Setting - Stockdale, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure
• Experience supporting pediatric populations, preferably in school environments
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Keen ability to assess and develop appropriate intervention plans for a range of student needs
• Commitment to staying current with best practices and required documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services and functional assessments for students as outlined in IEPs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention strategies
• Consult with educators, families, and staff to support student goals and classroom participation
• Keep thorough and timely records of therapy provided and progress made
• Collaborate with other school therapists, including communicating with the previous year’s OT (MJ’s OT), to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in student support meetings and contribute to IEP development
