Occupational Therapist School Setting - Stockton, CA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure to practice Occupational Therapy is required
• Previous experience as a school-based OT or in pediatric settings preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and the ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students, teachers, and parents
• Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students as prescribed by IEPs, ensuring each child receives tailored, effective interventions
• Perform assessments to identify students’ needs and track progress
• Collaborate with educational staff, administrators, and families to develop and implement therapy plans
• Maintain detailed documentation and reports in compliance with school and professional standards
• Provide guidance and resources to teachers and support staff to facilitate students’ participation in classroom activities
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to plans aligning therapy with educational goals
