Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
  • Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and support staff
  • Adaptable, organized, and enthusiastic about meeting students’ unique challenges
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and evidence-based therapeutic strategies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ motor skills, sensory-motor functions, and daily living tasks
  • Design and execute individualized plans to help students achieve their academic and functional goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to ensure integrated support
  • Conduct group and one-on-one therapy sessions as indicated by IEPs
  • Maintain detailed records and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate school staff and families on techniques and accommodations for student success
  • Advocate for students’ needs within the educational environment
