School Occupational Therapist | Stockton, California

What we’re looking for:

• Valid California Occupational Therapist licensure
• Experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy principles and strategies
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ abilities and needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, primarily within the school setting
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy interventions and student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Support transitions for students across school environments and grade levels
