Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with California state credentials
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric environment highly preferred
- Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and implementing individualized therapy services
- Strong communication abilities to collaborate with educators, staff, and families
- Adherence to ethical, professional, and regulatory standards
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy to students, focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
- Document progress and maintain accurate therapy records according to school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Offer consultative support to teachers and staff to help integrate therapy strategies into the classroom
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment to promote student achievement and confidence
