Key Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Georgia OT license and GaPSC certification (both required)
- Documentation verifying appropriate clearances
- Experience working in school settings and/or with students with disabilities is strongly preferred
- Capacity to deliver services onsite (this is not a remote opportunity)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to two assigned students, 30 minutes per week per student
- Assess individual student needs, focusing on areas such as sensory processing, fine motor function, and classroom participation
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, and school-based support teams
- Develop and document recommendations for classroom accommodations and instructional strategies
- Monitor progress, maintain detailed service logs, and ensure compliance with IEP and regulatory requirements
- Participate actively in team discussions regarding student progress and needs
