This contract opportunity is ideal for passionate professionals who enjoy working closely with children from early childhood through 5th grade. Both full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time positions (.5 FTE or greater) are available, offering flexibility based on your schedule and availability. The workday generally runs from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some after-hours meetings throughout the school year. Please note: this opportunity is on-site and in-person only.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure for schools and healthcare settings
- Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy
- Familiarity with home health OT practices and documentation
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students in EC–5th grade
- Comfortable conducting hands-on therapy sessions and participating in meetings outside regular school hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions to elementary students in person
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and meet educational goals
- Complete comprehensive assessments, track progress, and maintain required documentation
- Attend and participate in after-hours meetings, including IEPs and team planning sessions
- Adapt therapy techniques and activities to fit classroom, home, and community environments
