Occupational Therapist School Setting in Stoughton, WI

This contract position offers both full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time (0.5 FTE or above) options, providing flexibility for the right schedule. The assignment primarily serves elementary students (Early Childhood through 5th grade) and is strictly in-person, fostering enriching hands-on interactions in a dynamic school environment.

Key qualifications and background:

• Active licensure and credentialing as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in a school or healthcare setting
• Experience in school-based OT, home health OT, or other pediatric OT roles
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic strategies for elementary-aged students
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support teams
• Competence in documentation and progress monitoring
• Passion for encouraging student independence and learning through tailored interventions

Responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct OT services to students, focused on improving their fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
• Conducting assessments and participating in the development of IEPs and service plans
• Consulting with teachers and other support staff on strategies to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
• Keeping detailed records of student progress, therapy goals, and outcomes
• Attending after-hours meetings as needed to coordinate care and communicate with families and staff

Work hours typically fall between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm, with occasional after-hours meetings supporting collaboration and student success.
