As an integral partner with school staff and families, you’ll work closely with students, providing expert assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring to enable full participation in daily classroom routines and activities. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Relevant certification to practice occupational therapy
  • Previous experience working within a school setting is preferred
  • Proven ability to provide direct 1:1 therapy to children
  • Collaborative, communicative nature with strong interpersonal skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive when developing plans and documenting progress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individualized assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement customized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct one-on-one therapy sessions
  • Track, document, and report on student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to maximize student outcomes
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and support goal setting
  • Mentor and consult with educational staff as needed
