1:1 Certified Occupational Therapist School Setting in Strasburg, CO

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and active state Occupational Therapy license required
• Certification as a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Experience delivering school-based OT services, especially in a 1:1 setting, strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy documentation for schools
• Skillful communication and collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff
• Ability to adapt interventions based on student needs and classroom demands
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage caseload and maintain meticulous records

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored, one-on-one occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Assess student skills and write progress reports, goals, and intervention plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams within the school community
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support student success in the classroom
• Document therapy sessions, progress, and interventions in accordance with school policies and state regulations
• Adjust techniques and approaches as needed to encourage student development and engagement
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality throughout all student interactions and records
