Licensed Certified School Occupational Therapist - Strasburg, Colorado

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active certification and state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Prior experience (preferred) providing occupational therapy services in school or pediatric settings
• Skilled at developing and implementing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in partnership with teachers, families, and other specialists
• Comfortable supporting students one-on-one, adapting interventions to diverse needs and learning styles
• Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to ongoing professional growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and create custom therapy plans aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct 1:1 occupational therapy services, focusing on school-related functional skills
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reports
• Consult and collaborate regularly with school staff, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights to inform educational planning
• Support students with adaptive equipment, sensory needs, and transitions throughout the school day
