Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working directly with students across K-12 settings, helping them develop essential fine and gross motor skills for greater independence and success at school. This role is perfect for skilled Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) who are passionate about making a positive impact.

Currently, there are two full-time openings available, offering 37.5 hours per week. Positions are ready to start now for the current academic year, with continued opportunities secured for the 26/27 school year. You’ll work collaboratively with a supportive educational team, providing specialized therapy services while building meaningful connections with students.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure
  • Prior experience or confidence working in school settings and with K-12 students
  • Expertise in developing and implementing intervention plans that address fine and gross motor skills
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and other team members
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Knowledgeable about therapy documentation and compliance requirements in educational environments

Your Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ motor skill needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor therapy interventions, tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families regarding strategies and progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and legal guidelines
