As a travel OT, you’ll not only support K-12 students in developing fine and gross motor skills, but also grow as a clinician by collaborating with staff from varied backgrounds. Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based OT practice
  • Expertise in fine and gross motor skill development
  • Comfortable working with K-12 caseloads
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group OT services to K-12 students
  • Evaluate students’ needs and develop tailored intervention plans
  • Document progress and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
