This contract opportunity offers the chance to work directly with children in-person, helping them achieve their educational and functional goals across schools in the Fairfield and Vacaville areas. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute your expertise to foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Valid and current Occupational Therapist license/certification for California
  • Experience delivering OT services in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and compliance
  • Excellent communication skills with students, families, and school staff
  • Adaptability and problem-solving abilities in dynamic school environments

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with diverse needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services on campus
  • Document therapy sessions and progress notes according to school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
  • Support inclusion and accommodation within classroom and extracurricular settings
  • Educate staff and parents on strategies to enhance student participation and success
