This contract position is ideal for a dedicated and skilled OT professional who’s ready to support students’ development and success in an educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Experience providing OT services in school settings strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to travel to sites within the Fairfield and Vacaville area
  • Knowledge of best practices in pediatric and adolescent OT interventions
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-person OT assessments and therapy to students in multiple school sites
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
  • Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies to support student participation and achievement
  • Provide consultation and education to staff and families regarding OT best practices
  • Adapt therapy plans as needed to meet evolving student needs
