Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Experience providing OT services in school settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to travel to sites within the Fairfield and Vacaville area
- Knowledge of best practices in pediatric and adolescent OT interventions
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person OT assessments and therapy to students in multiple school sites
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies to support student participation and achievement
- Provide consultation and education to staff and families regarding OT best practices
- Adapt therapy plans as needed to meet evolving student needs
